Connect Claude to BeMyTalent

The BeMyTalent MCP connector lets your AI assistant read the accounting, invoices and CRM of the projects you choose, and prepare drafts there. It never approves, posts, pays or sends anything: those steps stay yours, in BeMyTalent.

MCP server address

https://mcp.bemytalent.com/mcp
  • MCP protocol over Streamable HTTP.
  • Sign-in with OAuth 2.0 and PKCE, using your own BeMyTalent account.
  • No client ID, secret or API key to enter.

What the connector does

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard through which an AI assistant uses external tools. Once the connector is added, Claude calls BeMyTalent's tools during the conversation to answer your requests, within the permissions you granted it.

It is for people who keep a project in BeMyTalent (company, association, fiduciary) and work with Claude. Each person connects their own assistant with their own BeMyTalent account and chooses their projects; the assistant never does more than that person's role allows.

Example requests

  • Ask for a project's result or balance sheet at a given date.
  • Find the entries of an account over a period, or the bank transactions of a month.
  • Have a draft entry prepared, which you then approve in BeMyTalent.
  • Update a CRM record or add a follow-up task.
  • Have a quote or an email prepared for a contact, which you review and send yourself (on projects where these permissions have been opened, on request via support).

Connect Claude

The connector works in Claude on the web (claude.ai), in the desktop app and in Cowork. On mobile, it can be used once it has been added from the web or the desktop app.

Before you start

  • A BeMyTalent account that can view the accounting of at least one project.
  • AI assistants turned on for that project by its owner: Settings → Agents & API keys → My existing connections → AI assistants on this project. If you are the owner, the authorization page offers to turn them on right there.

Add the connector

  1. In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and add a custom connector.
  2. Name it BeMyTalent and enter the MCP server address: https://mcp.bemytalent.com/mcp. Keep the suggested settings: Claude uses its published identity, with no client ID or secret.
  3. Add the connector, then click Connect. A BeMyTalent page opens: sign in with your BeMyTalent account, and enter your code if two-factor authentication is on.
  4. Choose the projects (up to 25) and, for each one, what the assistant may do, then click Allow. You return to Claude.
  5. In a conversation, open the “+” menu → Connectors and turn on BeMyTalent.

Claude Team and Enterprise

Only an organization Owner adds the connector, in Organization settings → Connectors. Each member then clicks Connect and signs in with their own BeMyTalent account: they choose their projects and permissions, within the limits of their role.

To add a project or a permission later: in Claude, disconnect BeMyTalent and connect it again; the new authorization replaces the previous one.

Local command-line clients cannot connect directly to this address yet.

ChatGPT and Codex

ChatGPT and Codex will connect through BeMyTalent's official listing in the OpenAI directory, available soon. Until then, adding the server address to ChatGPT by hand is not supported.

Permissions and tools

You grant permissions project by project, on BeMyTalent's authorization page. Claude only receives the tools of the permissions granted, plus the tool that lists the connected projects and the permissions on each.

  • Reading: the assistant looks, without changing anything.
  • CRM: new records and changes are saved immediately, without approval, and stay visible in the history of contacts, leads, deals and tasks; companies created or updated do not show there. Nothing is deleted.
  • Drafts: prepared entries, quotes and emails stay drafts, which you review in BeMyTalent.
  • Never: the assistant approves, posts, pays and sends nothing. Sending an email or a quote is always a person's click in BeMyTalent.
  • Your role remains the limit: permissions that write require the editor role or higher on the project.

For every connection

This tool is available whatever permissions are granted.

bmt_projects Lists the connected projects and the permissions on each.

Limits and durations

Limits apply per connection, across all projects.

  • Up to 25 projects per connection.
  • Up to 60 tool calls per minute.
  • Preparations (draft entries, emails and quotes): 20 per hour and 100 per day, in total.
  • CRM creations and changes: 200 per hour and 1000 per day.

When a limit is reached, the tool refuses and says when to try again; the assistant should tell you rather than keep trying.

Durations

  • A connection lasts at most 90 days; after that, click Connect again in Claude.
  • If it is not used for 30 days, you also need to connect again.
  • Claude receives an access token valid for 15 minutes, renewed automatically; it never learns your password.

Revoke access

In BeMyTalent

Settings → Agents & API keys → My existing connections → Connected assistants → Revoke. You revoke your whole connection; an administrator of the project can remove that project from a member's connection.

The owner can also turn off “AI assistants on this project”: the project is removed from every connection at once.

In Claude

Customize → Connectors → BeMyTalent: disconnect or remove the connector. To be sure access is cut on the BeMyTalent side, revoke it in BeMyTalent too.

Revoking does not erase answers the assistant has already received.

Each time a new connection is made, BeMyTalent sends you an email. If you did not start the connection, revoke it.

Your data

Claude only receives the answers of the tools it calls: data from the chosen projects, within the permissions granted. BeMyTalent sends nothing on its own.

The connector gives no access to the payroll module (payslips, contracts, AHV numbers), to CRM messages and conversations, or to your password. Salary journal entries, however, are part of the accounting the connector reads: their description names the employee, the amounts are shown, and the payment appears in the bank transactions. No IBAN field is sent; bank descriptions and notes are sent as they are and may contain an account number.

What the assistant receives is sent to its provider (for Claude, Anthropic), often in the United States, and handled under its terms.

BeMyTalent never uses the connector's data to train AI models. How the assistant's provider uses it is governed by its own terms.

Your data stays stored in BeMyTalent, in Zurich, and every tool call is logged there.

The details are in our privacy policy: external AI assistants (section 4ter)
